Arcade Music prides itself on being a good old brick and mortar shop, family-run, without the corporate targets and the boring stuff that goes with it. We're musicians with a skill of offering a class customer service, great prices and knowledge of our products.

History of Arcade Music

Our roots go right the way back to our original brick and mortar music shop in the shopping arcade in Cannock, Staffordshire (right in the heart of England). Arcade Music was started by John & Jayne in 1983, back when John had long, curly hair and was a drummer in a rock band. They started a family of guitarists, drummers and singers, a couple of whom help their mom and dad run the business today. In the late 80s, when the arcade was demolished, we moved to the other side of the town centre. Since then, we've been there, seeing our first visitors become life-long loyal customers, and watching our younger customers progress from just starting out on their instrument of choice, maturing into very talented musicians.

Our Team

John, drummer and proprietor, runs the shop. He's the guy to talk to if you have any questions about drums, or if you're enquiring about something on eBay.

Jayne also runs the business and takes care of the accounts.

Mick's our guitar man. If you're enquiring about guitars, or need a set up or repair, Mick's your man. He also teaches guitar at the shop. 

You'll also see Scott, Ritch and Ian in the shop taking care of sales. Ritch also looks after the website, so if you've got anything to say about his creation, ask him!

We've also got Lynch, who's our in-house drum tutor.
